Movies, movies, and oo ya movies:)

Heyy everyone!
Yay...post #2!! I have put in a lot of thought as to what this post is going to be about. First, I was going to tell you about my dull weekend or how my dog, Buddy, has a strange obsession with my feet. Don't those sound exciting??? Those topics  I am going to have to save for another time because I want to build up suspense so you will keep reading:)
Soo in this post I want to talk about something that I love and has played a very big part in my life...MOVIES!
Movies take me to a whole new world  and let me forget about my troubles for just 2 hours!   It doesn't matter if I go to a theater or put in a DVD, watching a movie is an outlet for me.
I must admit that sometimes when I am watching a movie I get soo involved with the characters that I forget they are not real. I get engrossed by the setting, characters, and  dialogue that I have to tell myself "it is only a movie." I also love to quote lines from movies...any of my friends will tell you I always relate everything to a movie. I know this may seem crazy but it can help me see a situation better or understand how a person is feeling.
I also love to watch movies with friends and watch each other's reaction in when something scares you, makes you laugh, or makes you cry. You can tell so much about a person when you see how they react to a certain scene or joke. For me personally, I don't hold my emotions in when it comes to a movie...I either laugh so hard I cry, jump when somethig scary happens, or cry when things get  too sad.
When it comes down to movies I am open to many genres. I also love old movies such as It Happened One Night, An Affair to Remember, National Velvet, Funny Girl, Brigadoon, Dr. Zhivago, Gone With the Wind, and many more. I also like Shirley Temple movies such as Bright Eyes, Curly Top, and The Little Princess (my fav). More recent movies I like are the Harry Potter series, Titanic, Princess Diaries,Tangled, and My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
OK.. I could go on for hours about this lol, but as you can see I love movies! A big part of this has come from my mom, grandma, and my Aunt Sharon. They have all shared with me their love of films. My mom and my aunt are still in this war of who showed me certain movies first. Sorry Mom, Auntie Sharon showed  me Grease,Titanic, and Jaws first:)
As you can see from the length of this post, movies are very important to me and something I love!
